Lateral was founded in 2020 by Ras Sarac and Bipin Paul Bedi.

Ras has over 20 years of real estate investment management experience across fund, asset and transaction management, capital raising and investor relations. He spent over a decade in senior executive roles at Australia's largest and most active investment manager with US$60bn AUM, leading teams across functions.

Bipin has over 20 years of experience as an enterprise software engineer and cloud architect across web and mobile solutions and a wide range of technologies. He has deep expertise in translating business needs into functional and technical designs and has extensively led software engineering and customer support teams.

Lateral design combines that experience to bring solutions that closely reflect how institutional teams actually operate.
